The mountains have always been an integral part of my life and they have afforded me many incredible experiences. Fishing,
backpacking, boating and most other outdoor activities have been the
focus of my life in Truckee. My greatest enjoyment has come from
working with the wonderful people I have met in Truckee, just up for
the weekend, as well as those families striving to make a new place to raise
their families in a wholesome, rewarding environment.
I enjoy working with my family and sharing the successes and failures
that the business experience always provides. I guess it's all about
people and my interaction with them that I cherish.
Giving back to our community has always been a major part of our living in Truckee. We support local
charities through our Schaller Family Foundation. The foundation was originally set up with the
purpose of assisting at "risk kids" in our community. One of the larger projects which we supported
was the building of a retreat/garden in the new wing of the hospital. I have found that Truckee, it's
people, the town, and the schools have caused me to sink roots deeply into this community as I
have never been able to do before. It's my kind of town. |
